Welcome

Rosa Celebrates!!

It is time to celebrate our full and diverse College history and tradition. During 2008, the College will be hosting a number of events and activities. We warmly invite you to join in the celebrations over the coming year.

Our website will be the main centre for communication about the upcoming events and activities and memorabilia available to celebrate the valuable contribution of this community to the education of young men over our 80 year history. Check out the "Events and Dates" section for a complete outline.

We will regularly update our site with all the latest news to keep you in touch. By clicking on the "Latest News" section, you will be able to view all the current information about our College. You can also join the Rosa Contact List to receive information and bulletins via email. You can do this by submitting your information via the "Join the Rosa Contacts" link.

During the year, the main focus will be the production of a recorded History of the College fashioned into a DVD. Click on the “History of Rosa DVD” tab for more information. We are looking for stories, items and people to contribute to this. Please contact the College via the "Submit Your Story" tab if you feel you can provide input for this.

The Marist College Rosalie community intends to celebrate the life of the College in a spirit of tradition, fun, joy and inclusion. Please join us in celebrating the life of this historic educational institution.

We look forward to getting to know you as we celebrate Rosa over 2008!

In June 2006, the Archbishop of Brisbane, John Bathersby, in consultation with Queensland Catholic Education Commission, Brisbane Catholic Education and the Marist Brothers, determined the closure of Marist College Rosalie effective as of the end of 2008.
